Just a little bit of post-Christmas shopping (made easier by my lovely new comme des garçons wallet). I am definitely not one for the ravenous boxing day sales, but a leisurely stroll and luncheon date with Mumma bear warrants such relaxed purchases.

1. I am absolutely smitten with my Nike Roshes. After lusting over the black and white pair for weeks I suddenly flipped when I saw these red beauties. So vibrant! 

2. The Gorman knit is a beautiful rendition of this Acne sweater which has been a hesitant must-buy of mine for the last couple of months. Only deterred by its rather scratchy feel. This one is definitely much more wearable though, and 100% super-soft Australian merino.

3. And here sitting pretty is my new wall-ét (pronounced with an appropriately snooty French accent– it did come from France after all!), a very well received Christmas present from aforementioned Mumma bear.

Green green green

I am hearting green at the moment– the mossy lime variety to be exact.

My love for this flavoursome hue is oh-so-apparant from my latest instagram posts. I'll let the pictures do the talking, while my legs do the walking ;)

3. The perils of glass studio...whenever I use a Band-aid I cannot help but be reminded of that god-awful story from Andy Griffiths series about the whacky kid with the band-aid stuck to his head...makes me laugh everytime.

5. Outfit... consisting of Gorman pants, Country Road knit, Karen Walker glasses, Tony Bianco boots, and my Fjäll Raven Kanken baby.

6. New (aforementioned) tony bianco boots– like little leather gumboots they are.

7. Caroline Baggi lea bracelet...my latest jewellery purchase from M'oda 'Operandi

8. Another outfit...hand-me-down roll neck, Cheap Monday jeans, Wittner platform oxfords, Katmandu socks and fur bag made by me.

The other day I was super duper excited to attend one of the L'oreal Fashion Festival Runway shows!

It was fun mixing with the fashion in-crowd and swooning over the clothes by Goot, Dion, Ellery, Christopher Esber, Gary Bigeni and Theresa. Christopher was my definite favourite by far– the cuts and simplicity was genius not to mention the wild use of fabric. Just awesome!

The super sweet Anne (she was rocking an epic Ksubi blazer from theur WAR collection– I think I may have scared poor anne with my excitement at seeing it!), from Anne's Anchorage shot this pic of me! Thanks beb!

i am channeling some pretty crazy vibes at the moment– pretty much in keeping with my mood/personality.

i am literally going crazy over this dolce and gabbana baggy too. my infatuation has enveloped into a cyber-stalking sesh of any lucky fruitcake who has one. demi from chicmuse is high on the stalking list– what a babe she is. i mean honestly. WHAT A BABE!

Annnnnnd speaking of fruitcakes- who new gorman could be so witty. these high waisted bikinis are rad and the model wearing them, even radder. not to mention that epic fruit hat. i think i am lusting more over that tropical turban concoction more than the bathers themselves. I mean imagine sipping on fruit cocktails in the sun while fashioning such an eye-catching beauty! wow– if that's not béb-a-licious, i don't know what is.

and to top off crazed tirant of fashion musing– karen walker has pretty much blown my socks off with this new collection. those glasses take 'cat's-eye's' sunnies to a whole new level. i was still infatuated with her previous collection, and then BAM, WHOWZA, KAZZAM, out jumps this epic chunk of karen walker wisdom.

the mop heads are funky too. am considering donning a similar mop hair-do. what do you reckon? too wan? maybeeeeeee.

OOOOOH– what's up with me I hear you ask?

well the last few weeks have been jam packed (fuller than the jam factory itself) with work (yay new job– isn't it fab when you actually look forward to going to work? what a novelty experience!) training, and, riding my bike in mad circles. quite fun actually, as long as you don't a) get hit by a car (true story), b) fall off (another true story) or c) forget the key to your bike lock, after you have chained it to a pole– so clever!
