And so my obsession with all things japanese and kitsch continues. Ever since a POP magazine fell into my hands in the form of a Britney-Murakami-Cindy Sherman encyclopaedia of freakin awesomeness I have been totally absorbed.
Funny thing is that prior to my fluro-glitter-cutsie-flower emancipation I found Japanese design totally claustrophobic and uncomfortable. The over-saturated colours and exploded text made me feel all cramped and horrified.
Now as I write this I am dreaming of Murakami flowers, fluro hair bows and Britney inspired tulle skirts.
